A relaxing day in Bangkok exploring the streets and canals on foot, we picked up a few essential items for the wet weather which seemed to be imminent including umbrella’s and a decent dry pack. We also enjoyed a great vegetarian meal consisting of vegetable tempura and a vegetable curry with red rice. Our hard sleeper train heading south from Bangkok station left later in the evening bound for Surat Thani from where we would be discovering lush jungles, tropical islands, beaches and a Yoga Retreat!
